School Nurse Certificate Program Curriculum
Rutgers School of Nursing offers a school nurse certificate program for professional registered nurses with a baccalaureate degree who wish to be certified in school nursing (instructional certificate) in the state of New Jersey.
Students in the school nurse certificate program must complete 22 credits with a practicum of 75 hours. The certificate program is an online program, but requires 75 clinical hours and student teaching in a school setting during the practicum.
